Description
Xeomin® is a prescription medicine (botulinum toxin type A) used to treat facial wrinkles. A week after treatment, XEOMIN 100U UK eases the muscles responsible for forming subcutaneous depressions. Typically, treatment using this product requires three to four months for visible results.
Composition:
One vial contains Clostridium Botulinum neurotoxin type A (150 kD), free from complexing proteins*.
Side effects:
Common side effects of XEOMIN 100U UK include the following:
• Injuries to the cornea (the transparent front surface of the eye) in blepharospasm patients
• Trigger allergic reactions
• Neck ache
• Eye dryness
• Headache
• Feeling of exhaustion
• Diarrhea
• Eyelid bruising or swelling
• Blinking less than normal

Warnings
Do not start taking new medications until you have informed your doctor that you have previously used XEOMIN 100U UK. Tell your doctor right away if you:
• have you had additional botulinum toxin exposure in the past four months
• have a history of botulinum toxin injections, such as abobotulinumtoxinA (DYSPORT), onabotulinumtoxinA (BOTOX, BOTOX COSMETIC), and rimabotulinumtoxinB (MYOBLOC). Make sure your doctor is aware of the specific product you used.
• have recently had an injection or inhalation of an antibiotic
• employ muscle relaxants
• use a cold or allergy medication
• take a sleeping pill
