Description
Juvederm Ultra 4 is a hyaluronic acid (HA) facial filler. Manufactured in Haute Savoie, it is the first of its kind and was created to restore lost volume in the midface caused by aging, especially in the cheeks, cheekbones, and area around the chin.
Composition
Juvederm Ultra 4 is composed of the following:
• Hyaluronic acid gel (20 mg/mL, 20% concentration)
• 0.3% Lidocaine
It also contains:
• 2 syringes
• 4 needles 27G1/2 (CE0123)
Side Effects:
• redness
• swelling
• tenderness
• firmness
• lumps
• skin discoloration
• bruising
Contraindications
• Do not inject Juvederm Ultra 4 in your eyelid, undereye area, or crow’s feet in the glabellar region or lips.
• Do not inject Juvederm Ultra 4 with Lidocaine into the blood vessels.
• Do not overcorrect.
Do not use Juvederm Ultra 4 if you have:
• Untreated epilepsy
• Developed hypertrophic scarring
• Known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid and/or to gram-positive bacterial proteins as hyaluronic acid is produced by Streptococcus-type bacteria
• Known hypersensitivity to lidocaine or amide-type local anesthetics
• Suffering from porphyria
Note:
Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding and children are not advised to take Juvederm Ultra 4.
