Description
Jaydess® is a small, T-shaped intrauterine device (IUD) that releases the hormone levonorgestrel to prevent pregnancy. It is a long-acting reversible contraceptive method that can provide protection for up to 3 years.
Composition:
The JAYDESS® IUD contains 13.5mg of the hormone levonorgestrel, which is gradually released into the uterus over a period of up to 3 years.
Side effects:
Common side effects associated with the use of JAYDESS® include irregular menstrual bleeding, headaches, abdominal pain, nausea, and breast tenderness. Serious but rare side effects may include expulsion of the device, perforation of the uterus, and pelvic inflammatory disease.

JAYDESS® is supplied as a single IUD packaged in a sterile pouch.
