Description
EUFLEXXA (1% sodium hyaluronate) is used to relieve knee pain due to osteoarthritis. It is used for patients who do not get enough relief from simple pain medications such as acetaminophen or from exercise and physical therapy.
Composition:
EUFLEXXA is composed of a sterile solution of highly purified sodium hyaluronate, with a concentration of 10 mg/mL.
Side effects:
The most common side effects of EUFLEXXA include pain or swelling at the injection site, as well as joint stiffness or pain. Other side effects may include rash, itching, or hives. If you experience any severe side effects or allergic reactions, seek immediate medical attention.
Packaging:
EUFLEXXA is supplied in a pack of three 2 mL prefilled syringes, which are ready for immediate use.
