- Tysabri 300 mg Vial
TYSABRI® (natalizumab) is a monoclonal antibody therapy indicated for relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS) and moderate-to-severe Crohn’s disease. It works by inhibiting specific immune cells from crossing into inflamed areas, diminishing neurological damage in MS, and controlling inflammatory symptoms in Crohn’s.
Renowned for reducing relapse rates and slowing disease progression, TYSABRI® is often selected when first-line treatments prove inadequate. Its targeted mechanism can yield lasting improvements, but necessitates vigilant monitoring for potential infections or neurological complications.
Each dose is administered as a 300 mg intravenous infusion every four weeks at a certified infusion center. Frequent evaluations, including MRIs for MS, help assess both efficacy and emerging risks.
TYSABRI® is commonly prescribed by neurologists and gastroenterologists who are proficient in managing complex autoimmune conditions.
