Description
MAXIDEX belongs to a group of medicines known as corticosteroids. It is used to treat inflammation of the eye surface and the front portion inside the eye (anterior segment) and to prevent or treat inflammation following surgery to the eye.
Composition:
Each mL contains: Active: dexamethasone 0.1%. Preservative: benzalkonium chloride 0.01%. Vehicle: hypromellose 0.5%. Inactives: sodium chloride, dibasic sodium phosphate, polysorbate 80, edetate disodium, citric acid and/or sodium hydroxide (to adjust pH), purified water.

- redness of the white part of the eye or inside of the eyelid
- sensitivity of the eye to light
- swelling of the eye
