Description
ORENCIA® (abatacept) is a prescription medication used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, and psoriatic arthritis. It is a biologic drug that works by targeting specific cells of the immune system to reduce inflammation and joint damage.
Composition:
Each 15 ml vial of ORENCIA® contains 250mg of abatacept powder for intravenous infusion after reconstitution.
Side effects:
Common side effects of ORENCIA® may include headache, nausea, upper respiratory infection, and injection site reactions. Serious side effects may include serious infections, allergic reactions, and worsening of certain pre-existing conditions.
